Forgiveness
Forgiveness follows a similiar structure and format as In the Absence Of. It will focus on participants engaged in (confessional) dialogue about their experiences with offering and attempting to offer forgiveness, and being forgiven or not.
The project questions and challenges the effects of engaging or not engaging in forgiveness within interpersonal relationships, communities and nations. In conjunction with In the Absence Of it will cultivate dialogue in our community and the public sphere at-large. It investigates a post-structural construct of identity through a plural encounter of truths, lies and forgiveness.

Project Intersect: Old Town Hall
Easthampton's Old Town Hall has served as an epicenter, supporting the convergence of venues, personalities, politics and businesses. Folks from all aspects of the community have sought out its offices and audience. In our minds it functions as a meeting place; a hub where diverging interests touch, intersect and simply pass. All walks of life moved up and down it's stairs... a portal to community, acceptance, futures and processes that affect identity. Stairs provide a transitional space that marks time before and after an event occurs or a purpose is realized.

Individual and collective stories & inquiries connect & weave through books, amid touch and text. Libraries pool the complex of searchings, readings, histories and linkages.

Simultaneous video projections and sound loops reflect and ponder the notion of factories, the rail trail and reverberations of industry, labor and recreation—both past and present.
